"Franco Zeffirelli"







Zeffirelli studied Architecture in Florence, Italy, and became one of the most important names of the Italian Cinema and a worldy awarded film maker, with a long and beautiful filmography. Maybe not the most seen movies made by him, but the most delightful films I watched were Tea With Mussolini, that tells his childhood, Callas Forever, with Fany Ardant in the role of Maria Callas, and Hamlet, with Glenn Close and Mel Gibson.

H. Villa-Lobos

The renowned erudite composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, born in Brazil in 1887, loved Bach's music as much as he loved the brazilian popular rythms, and somehow, concerning his own music,  he made a fusion among the classical and the popular rythms from Brazil.
