SENSE and SENSIBILITY, Jane Austen

Sense and Sensibility ... siblings that ought not live apart.

Jane Austen wrote beautiful romances, but I see that, behind and beyond the romances in her books, she was wondering to say further more.

She mainly wrote over being women and I suppose she left some critical thinkings concerning the relationships in general, in a british society at her time. Her book "Sense and Sensibility" is a good sample of that. Its main story surrounds the sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, one mostly driven by the sense and the other by the sensibility.

The cinema screenplay based upon the book "Sense and Sensibility", by Emma Thompson, year 1995, is also bright. We also may appreciate the lovely english countryside landscape and may listen to good soundtrack.
